I've been able to talk one other person to watching this series, and wherever two or
more otaku gather, IT'S A ANIME SHOWING!

Boogiepop Phantom. David's Place. Starting 7:00-7:30PM. Gonna attempt at all 12
episodes, see how far we go.

A lot of people compare it to Lain, but that's not giving Lain enough credit. Lain
takes place in chronological order. Lain made sense- well a little sense. If your head
hurt after watching that series, it'll bleed after this one. Don't get me wrong,
Boogiepop is good, real good. I think it's a better series than Lain, but it is a
"different" type of anime, and so might not appeal to all.

I don't plan on doing any DDR, because I'd really like to go through this series in a
single showing. I saw it in bits and pieces and I'm hoping seeing it in one session
will help the series be a little bit clearer to me.

Perhaps I'll show Metropolis this summer, or even Kenshin OVA 2, X TV, NTHT, but I think
some people in the club will really enjoy this series. This series is not for everyone.
Just ask yourself, are drugs a good or bad thing?

Spoilers and a decent review of the series can be found at AoD->
http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews/viewreview.php?review=813. My advice is to not go to
the review, but if you really want to know what the series is about, feel free.
Considering it's Episode 2 weekend, I don't expect many people to make it, but if you
are bored and want to try something different...
