Yu Watase is known for being the manga artist and creator of Fushigi Yuugi, as well as a more recent series, Ayashi no Ceres.

Panel Report
This panel opened with a two episode showing of Ayashi no Series,
Ms. Watase's newest work. This series definitely shows her mark, as
the character designs are spot-on Fushigi Yuugi-like. There was no
talk (and thus nothing much to report on), and the panel went straight
into Q&A after the videos; most of the questions, as expected,
were about Fushigi Yuugi.

Question: You have stated that Nakago was your favorirte character in Fushigi Yuugi. Why is this?
"He is a tragic character."
Question: What is the true nature of Koji and Tasuki's relationship?
"They are just good friends."
Question: Is Nuriko gay?
"I didn't think so, but now that you mention it, I don't know."
